wonderful place to stay with superb view of the water

Great spot, lovely to hear the ocean and sit outside on the table and bench seats looking at the ocean view. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed in the kitchen. TV was good and our kids appreciated the sky channels :)

Perfectly matches photos and description, right over the road from the beach, close to store and a lovely walk from the lighthouse. Fantastic to be allowed to bring our fur friends as we never leave them behind. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely come back again one day. No nightmare list of instructions or impossible to follow rules, just simple and common sense stuff for the Bach style accomodation provided. House easily sleeps 4 people and could add in more kids in the garage bunks especially over summer during the warm months. Water pressure is standard small town nz but does the job. Furniture is robust and comfortable, beds are super soft! All the things you expect to find in a kitchen are there, even complimentary tea and coffee. The porch area is probably the highlight with a solid area that easily seats 4 and can seat up to six people. We enjoyed our hot drinks with a beach view and sunshine on our skin while we warmed up after swimming. Top notch experience

Great location across the street from the beach and pretty much central to the village. Fairly basic house, but clean, tidy and comfortable. And we appreciated the iconic view of the lighthouse from the kitchen! Pet-friendly, our 2 spaniels loved it.
